Bodegas Riojanas expands its research on resveratrol to Mazuelo and Graciano
Bodegas Riojanas has now decided to extend this research to Tempranillo (succesfully completed), and the Mazuelo and Graciano varieties that complement their most emblematic wines like Gran Albina, with the ultimate goal of offering the market wines that are not only of the highest quality, but also healthy.
To achieve these results, innovative nanotechnology and biotechnology techniques are applied in both the vineyard and the winery. But, as Pablo Orio (director of the R&D department of Bodegas Riojanas) points out, each winery uses the techniques it considers most effective to increase resveratrol content and highlights the importance of the "healthy wine" project for the bodega.
